Ukraine's General Staff: Strike drone launch site hit in occupied Donetsk

Ukraine's defence forces struck a facility used to store, prepare and launch Russian strike drones in Donetsk, as well as two ammunition depots in occupied Luhansk Oblast, on 26 September and on the night of 26-27 September.

Details: In Donetsk, Ukraine's defence forces struck a facility where Russian forces stored, prepared and launched strike UAVs.

Two ammunition depots were hit in Kripenskyi and Luhansk in occupied Luhansk Oblast.

In addition, a Russian fuel and lubricants depot was struck in Novoamvrosiivske, Donetsk Oblast.

The General Staff stressed that strikes on facilities used to store, prepare and launch strike drones are one of the priority areas of combat operations for Ukraine's defence forces.

Background: President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that over the past week, Russia had used more than 2,200 strike drones, around 1,650 aerial bombs and 38 missiles of various types against Ukraine, a significant proportion of them ballistic missiles.
