Zelenskyy reports "important results" on Lyman front

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced "important results" achieved by Ukrainian forces on the Lyman front in Donetsk Oblast as part of the Vivaldi offensive operation, as well as successes by an Air Assault Forces task force during another active defence operation.

Details: The president did not provide specific territorial details of the operations, noting that "designated objectives are being achieved".

According to Zelenskyy, over the course of the week across all active combat sectors, Ukrainian units wiped out 10,660 Russian military personnel, including killed and wounded.

He noted that the heaviest fighting continues on the Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka and Lyman fronts. Ukrainian forces are also executing tasks in Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv and Sumy oblasts.

Zelenskyy specifically highlighted servicemen of the 3rd Army Corps and the 68th Oleksa Dovbush Separate Airmobile Brigade of the 8th Corps of the Airborne Assault Forces.

The president also stated that together with the commander-in-chief, he outlined further active operations for Ukrainian troops, though details were not disclosed.
