Russians attack high-rise building in Kharkiv: 25 injured, including nine children – photos, video

The Russians have struck a high-rise residential building in Kharkiv's Saltivskyi district, injuring 25 people, including nine children.

Update: Syniehubov later wrote that the number of people injured had risen to 14, including eight children. All of them are receiving medical treatment.
At 05:21, he reported that 16 people had been injured, but none had sustained serious injuries. It later became known that the number of people injured had risen to 22.

A 12-year-old boy and an eight-year-old boy were taken to hospital. Two girls aged three and seven, a nine-year-old boy and two 10-year-old boys as well as a 15-year-old girl all received medical treatment at the scene.
The Russian attack destroyed the first and second floors of the building.


Early reports indicate that the Russians also struck Kharkiv's Kyivskyi district.
Update: Syniehubov said that medical workers have so far provided treatment to 24 people in the Saltivskyi district. Emergency services are continuing to work at the site of the Russian strike.

At 08:26, Syniehubov wrote that the number of people injured had risen to 25. A 14-year-old girl has been injured and taken to hospital.
