Twenty-four people have been injured in Russian attacks on Kyiv since the start of the day on 28 September, and one woman has been killed.

Background:
- On the afternoon of 28 September, a Russian drone struck the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in Kyiv.
- Nataliia Bukalo, an assistant to Volodymyr Horbulin, former secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defence Council, was killed in the strike.
- Seven people were injured in a Russian strike on the Dobrobut medical centre on Antonovycha Street in Kyiv. Six of them worked at the centre.
- On the evening of 28 September, Russian drones struck a non-residential building and a warehouse in Kyiv's Obolonskyi district.
