Russian guided bomb strikes on Sumy: two killed and nine injured in one day – photo

Oleh Hryhorov, Head of Sumy Oblast Military Administration, has summarised the consequences of the Russian strikes on the city of Sumy, reporting that two people have been killed and nine injured, including three children.

Details: Hryhorov stated that the two people killed in a residential area by Russian guided bomb strikes were a 70-year-old woman and a 74-year-old man.

One of the guided bombs also hit the grounds of the Central City Cemetery. Graves and monuments were damaged, and windows in a church were blown out.

"Russian strikes do not even spare places of remembrance and burial," Hryhorov said.

He added that nine people had been injured, including three children. Dozens of residential buildings, educational institutions, other civilian sites and cars were damaged.

Quote: "The enemy attacks the oblast centre with guided aerial bombs almost every day. Russia has conducted more than 150 strikes on the city of Sumy alone since the beginning of the year.

Guided aerial bombs remain one of the most serious and complex threats to border oblasts."
