Russian forces deliberately targeted a fire and rescue unit in the Zaporizhzhia district with a drone on 2 October, injuring a firefighter.

Background: Russian forces struck a fire station with a drone in one of the settlements in Zaporizhzhia Oblast on the night of 30-31 August. The unit's building, a water tender and a passenger car were damaged. No personnel were injured as they were in a shelter.
