Details: Sinkevičius said he is convening a meeting of the National Security Commission on 19 October to discuss two incidents in the country, including an incursion by an unidentified drone.
Quote: "It is necessary to establish where the drone came from and where it was first detected by radar. The findings of the services following their examination of the debris will also be important. We will also consider granting the services additional powers to neutralise drones."
Details: Sinkevičius added that another incident had occurred overnight: an attempt to set fire to a Lithuanian company storing Starlink communications equipment. He stressed that the attempt had failed because the authorities had warned the company of possible attacks in time and security had been reinforced.
"Our services are closely monitoring the activities of hostile states and taking measures to protect people and their property," the prime minister stressed.
