Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that he would agree to a peace deal that would freeze the war along the current frontlines, as it is a "real" way to end the conflict.

Quote from Zelenskyy: "Yes, right now we have to freeze [the war – ed.], and I think this is real way to end this war. We call it a ceasefire or 'stop killing', like President Trump called it. Freeze and stop. And of course, this is the minimum what we need from Russia today. Then, of course, we will go to [the US] president and to Europeans, and we will ask for security guarantees. But the most important is peace, and also security [of] peace."
Details: The president stressed that it is important not to fear that the occupation, the aggression and the killings will return before they are even stopped, and said that's why Ukraine needs a ceasefire, peace talks and security guarantees.
Quote from Zelenskyy: "And that's why – freeze and talks. And security guarantees from the United States. And prosperity from our partners for renovation of our lives. We need 9.5 million people which lost their houses, which are abroad, everywhere; we need them to come back to Ukraine, just to live and build their country."
