Verbatim: "The occupying forces tried to gain a foothold on the occupied frontiers, regrouped troops, restored combat capability and replenished stocks of missiles, ammunition and fuel and lubricants on 10 March.

"The aggressor continues to form a reserve on Russian territory due to the significant loss of personnel and the slowdown in the offensive.

"The Russian occupying forces have been stopped, demoralised and are suffering heavy losses.

"Ukrainian Armed Forces, in close cooperation with other components of the Defence Forces, are frantically resisting the Russian invaders, inflicting significant losses on manpower and military machinery".

Details:

In the Polissya direction, Russian forces are attempting to break through the defences of Ukrainian defenders in the settlements of Poliske, Kukhari, Zhovtneve, Andriyivka, Kopyliv, Motyzhyn, Buzova, Horenychi, Bucha and Demydiv and to block Kyiv.

In the northern direction, Russian troops were stopped while trying to break through the defence of Chernihiv. Further movement by Russian forces in the direction of Brovary from the east remains possible.

In the Kharkiv area, Russian forces' attempts to blockade the city from the north are continuing to fail. Rifle regiments formed of Russian reservists were involved in the fighting near Kharkiv.

In the Tavriya direction, Russian troops are concentrating their efforts on capturing the Ukrainian cities of Mariupol and Severodonetsk near Donetsk.

Near the Southern Buh River, Russian forces tried to gain a foothold on achieved frontiers, establish control over the city of Mykolayiv and develop an offensive in the directions of Zaporizhya and Kryvyi Rih.

In the Black Sea and Azov operational zones, weather conditions favoured Ukraine's military presence there, forcing Russian ships to return to naval bases.
