More than 600 Czechs have volunteered to join the Territorial Defences's International Legion.
This was reported to "European Truth" via Dennik.cz.
This was also announced by the office of the President of the Czech Republic. It is noted that the state will provide support to all Czech citizens who decide to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Czech authorities have already announced that they will not prosecute citizens who want to go to fight in Ukraine against the Russian invasion.
Additionally, Czech President Milos Zeman, a former outspoken supporter of Vladimir Putin, said that Russia's war against Ukraine has "brought the world to the brink" and called for strengthening the Czech Republic's defence capabilities.
