The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) has published new evidence of looting by the Russian occupiers on the territory of Ukraine.

According to the SSU: "The SSU has ample evidence that looting by Russian occupiers has reached such proportions that soon it could be considered their only purpose for being in Ukraine."

Details: Russian soldiers openly brag to their relatives about their "gains." One of them said in an intercepted conversation that it is easy to get rich in Ukraine: you just have to go into any apartment and take whatever you want.

One Russian soldier was calling his wife using a Ukrainian SIM card which he "found" along with the phone itself. But that is not his only trophy. He bragged about a $40,000 watch, a PlayStation 4, and UAH 80,000.

To impress his wife, he converted the sum into rubles – though using a pre-war conversion rate. He says that it is the equivalent of 240,000 rubles. The "breadwinner" apparently did not know the extent to which the sanctions have devalued the Russian currency, as the SSU notes.

The soldier said that some of his comrades-in-arms "will come home and pay off their mortgage."

According to the SSU: "While the ‘orcs’ [Russian army - ed.] are fantasising about how they will spend the loot, the Ukrainian military is killing them on all fronts. And our victory is very near!"
