Dmytro Zhyvytskyy, Head of the Sumy Regional State/Military Administration, has said that heavy fighting was taking place in the Sumy region. The aggressors have once more bombed the town of Okhtyrka.

Background: An airstrike on the town of Okhtyrka killed at least 3 civilians on 14 March.

On the night of 24 March, Russian troops fired rockets at residential areas in the town of Okhtyrka in the Sumy region, killing civilians.
