Fighting continues on the outskirts of Mykolaiv. Russian troops driven from air base

On the outskirts of Mykolaiv near the Black Sea in southern Ukraine, fighting between the Ukrainian Armed Forces and Russian invaders continues. The Ukrainians have managed to drive Russian units from the Kulbakino Air Base.

Details: Kim noted that he is still unable to reveal details about combat operations for the security of Ukrainian forces, but he stated that there are no Russian units left in the city of Mykolaiv.
Around 18:00, Ukraine’s Army reported that Russian units had cleared out from the Kulbakino Air Base near Mykolaiv. Ukrainian defenders raised Ukraine’s flag over the airfield.
Background: On the afternoon of 4 March, authorities stated that Russian occupying forces had entered the city and fighting was taking place in the streets.
