Volnovakha evacuation disrupted. Ukraine demands that Russia sticks to agreements

Ukraine’s Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk informed that the Russian troops continue to fire at the evacuation routes from Mariupol and Volnovakha, and called on Russia to implement the agreements.

Quote: "At 11:45 am, the Russian Federation began shelling the town of Volnovakha from heavy artillery. As you know, from 9 am on 5 March, we had a preliminary agreement that we will create two humanitarian corridors: Volnovakha and Mariupol.
"I am stating the fact that Russia has violated the agreement, even despite mediation of the Red Cross, has not complied with its commitments, and is shelling the town of Volnovakha. Also, in the direction of Mariupol-Zaporizhzhia, fighting is ongoing near the village of Polohy-Orikhove, which makes it impossible for the column to move from Mariupol to Zaporizhia.
"We call on the Russian side to end the shelling, return to the ceasefire mode, and allow the formation of columns of the humanitarian corridor so that children, women and the elderly could leave these towns."
Details: Ukraine also calls on Russia to allow humanitarian aid to be sent from Dnipro and Zaporizhia – particularly, medicines and food.
