Details: On Wednesday morning, Skadovsk residents went out to celebrate the 208th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko’s birthday.
At that time, Russian occupying forces began to enter the city.

Russian soldiers with weapons stood along with peaceful protesters who honoured Taras Shevchenko with Ukrainian flags.

Residents wrote on social media that, around 9-10 am, eight cars drove into the city centre, ten people ran to the city council and knocked on the door. Allegedly, there was a "z" sign on the cars.
The military forces asked to close all shops.
The military forces went to the city council and took away all computers, Skadovsk Mayor Oleksandr Yakovlev told "Suspilne".

Quote: "Military of an unknown type of troops visited and took all computers from the city council, and left. They made a total mess here. No one was injured."

Details: According to Yakovlev, the military ordered to not hold any political meetings.
Until that day, Skadovsk was quiet and peaceful, although Kherson was already under siege and occupied.
