Ukrainian Armed Forces hit 17 enemy air targets above Ukraine

On 23 April, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force and Land Forces struck nine operational-tactical drones, three aircraft and five cruise missiles.

Quote: "The 59th day of the war of liberation against the Russian occupiers has passed. Like the other days, it has been difficult for the Ukrainian defenders.
Military transport, fighter, bomber and assault aircraft of the Air Force continue to carry out missions in Ukrainian airspace, to provide support and cover to ground troops, and to inflict fire damage on the positions of the Russian occupying forces. Ukraine’s air defence also continues to destroy the enemy in the air."
Details: According to the results of 23 April 2022, 17 air targets were hit:
- 3 aircraft (provisionally Sukhoi Su-34, Su-35 and Su-25);
- 5 cruise missiles (2 of which were shot down over Odesa, another 2 on their way to the port of Yuzhne, and one in the Donetsk area – ed.);
- 9 unmanned aerial vehicles (reportedly Orlan-10).
