Four mayors turned out to be traitors in the Luhansk region: in Rubizhne, Stanytsia Luhanska, Milove and Markivka.

Quote by Haidai: "Among the heads of towns we have four traitors: in Rubizhne, Milove, Markivka, Stanytsia Luhanska. After the victory, we will see how the law on collaborators works on these people."

Details: On air, when asked about the mayor of Rubizhne, who escaped and showed a video about the alleged Ukrainian "Nazis", Haidai answered that cases of collaboration are not frequent, there are just a few individual cases.

"Unfortunately, we have examples in Stanytsia Luhanska, Markivka and Milove. The rest of the heads of territories either left or stayed within the territory, but have not been cooperating with the occupiers - they are just dealing with humanitarian issues," he added.

These are clearly Serhii Khortiv (Rubizhne), Albert Zinchenko (Stanytsia Luhanska), Ihor Dziuba (Markivka) and Oleh Savchenko (Milove).

Previously:

On 1 April, it appeared that the mayor of Rubizhne, Serhii Khortiv, had betrayed Ukraine and sided with the Russian military. The network published a video in which Khortiv referred to the Ukrainian Armed Forces "Nazis" and called on people to lay down weapons, just like Russian propaganda would do.

There was no contact with him during the first days of the war, so on 4 March, Serhiy Haidai appointed Roman Vlasenko, the head of the Severodonetsk Regional State Administration, to serve as head of Rubizhne.

On 31 March, the President established two military administrations in the cities of Rubizhne and Kreminna in the Severodonetsk district of the Luhansk region.

Khortiv told Russian journalists that he had not contacted the Ukrainian authorities because they allegedly wanted to kill him, as they did the mayor of Kreminna.

The mayor of Kreminna, Volodymyr Struk, was found dead with a gunshot wound to the heart on 2 March. According to his wife, he was abducted on 1 March by people in camouflage uniforms. At one time, he was the deputy from the "Party of Regions", supported Russia, was suspected of promoting the self-proclaimed "Luhansk People’s Republic" group, but he won the 2020 elections.

On 1 March, the Luhansk Regional Prosecutor's Office opened a criminal case for treason (Part 1 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code) against the head of the Markivka amalgamated territorial community and the head of the Milovka amalgamated territorial community. They are accused of having sided with Russia and helped the Russians to carry out subversive activities against Ukraine.

In the elections held in autumn 2020, Ihor Dziuba became the head of Markiv and Oleh Savchenko became the head of Milove.

On 2 March, the Specialised Prosecutor's Office of the Joint Forces launched an investigation for treason against the head of the Stanychno-Luhanska military-civil administration and his two deputies. Albert Zinchenko was the village head of Stanytsia Luhanska.
