General Staff: aggressors unsuccessfully storm several cities in Donbas

The Russian aggressor army continues to carry out assault operations in several areas of Donbas, but to no avail.

Details: According to the data, the Russian occupying forces are trying to continue full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine and don’t stop conducting offensive operations in the Eastern Operational Zone.

In particular, in the Donetsk front, aggressors used mortars, artillery, rocket-propelled grenade launchers and launched missile and bomb air strikes in order to destroy the fortifications of Ukrainian units.

In the Lyman front, Russian occupying forces are trying to capture the area on the right bank of the Seversky Donets River and gain a foothold in the area of the settlement of Oleksandrivka. They carried out assault operations in the direction of the settlement of Novoselivka, but were unsuccessful.

In the Sievierodonetsk front, the enemy continues to storm in the area of the settlement of Voevodivka, without success.

In the Bakhmut, Avdiyev and Kurakhiv fronts, the Russian occupying forces are storming in order to improve the tactical position of its troops, but have had no success.

In Mariupol, the Russian occupying forces continued to launch artillery and air strikes, focusing its efforts on blocking our units near the Azovstal plant.

The Russian aggressors conducted air reconnaissance using UAVs in the Pokrovsk, Slovyansk, and Pavlograd front. 

The Russian occupying forces did not carry out active offensive operations in the Volyn and Polissya fronts. According to available information, the second stage of the readiness check of the units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus under the leadership of the Chief of the General Staff continues. A scheduled inspection of the readiness of the warning system was carried out.

The threat of missile and bomb strikes from Belarus on infrastructure facilities in Ukraine continues.

On the Seversky front, the Russian occupying forces continue to provide enhanced protection of the Ukrainian-Russian border in the Bryansk and Kursk regions. They carried out shelling of the border areas of Ukraine.

It is likely that the Russian occupying forces will continue to conduct demonstrations on this section of the state border of Ukraine and shelling from the territory of Russia in order to prevent the movement of units of our troops in other directions.

In the Kharkiv front, the main efforts of the Russian occupying forces were focused on preventing the advance of our troops and the liberation of the territories temporarily occupied by the Russian aggressors. 

During the day, the Russian occupying forces fired on the positions of our troops in the areas of the settlements of Pytomnyk and Ruski Tyshky.

The Russian occupying forces did not carry out active offensive operations on the Slovyansk front. Their main efforts were focused on replenishing supplies of material and technical means to increase offensive capabilities. They carried out shelling in the areas of settlements along the line of contact. They also carried out air reconnaissance with the help of "Orlan-10" UAVs.

In the Pivdenoburskyi front, the Russian occupying forces didn’t conduct active hostilities, but continued to hold positions. They focused their main efforts on firing down units of our troops, and building up the electronic warfare system.

In addition, according to information available to the Armed Forces, the Russian occupying forces have increased the air defence system in the western part of the Crimean peninsula.

At the same time, according to the General Staff, the Russian aggressors continue to suffer losses on almost all fronts.
