Russians shell Sumy and Chernihiv Regions using grenade-guns, machine guns and artillery

Russian troops are still shelling the border areas of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions.

Details: According to data provided by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, on May 18 shelling took place on seven occasions from over the border with Russia: five in Sumy Oblast, two in Chernihiv Oblast.

The aggressors used large-calibre machine guns, automatic grenade-guns, barrel and jet artillery.

The longest round of shelling lasted about an hour. The Russians fired mortars from the village of Zernove near a border settlement in the Shostka district of Sumy oblast.

It is mentioned that, fortunately, the shelling has not resulted in any casualties among personnel.
