Aggressors prepare to resume the offensive and drag T-62 tanks to Zaporizhzhia –  General Staff

The Russians are training reservists and replenishing supplies in Belgorod and Voronezh oblasts (Russian Federation) in order to resume the offensive on Ukrainian territory.

Details: Tactical exercises of the Belarusian Armed Forces are underway in the Brest region, near Volyn and Polissya fronts.

On Sivershchyna front, the aggressors continue to carry out engineering equipment at their positions located in the border areas of Bryansk oblast. The Russians are deploying aircraft to strengthen the border protection.

The aggressors continue to fire mortars and artillery at the positions of the Ukrainian Defence Forces in the border areas of Sumy Oblast.

On Kharkiv and Slovyansk fronts, the aggressors focused on holding positions and repulsing the advance of Ukrainian troops. The Russians are also shelling Ukrainian positions.

The aggressors led the offensive towards the village of Bohorodychne with the support of artillery. However, they failed and retreated to the position they had held before.

The aggressors continue to prepare reserves in Belgorod and Voronezh oblasts. They replenish stocks in order to resume the offensive.

On Donetsk front, the aggressors fire on units of Ukrainian Defenders, launch missile strikes, conduct reconnaissance, increase air support, and regroup troops. They strengthen the group by moving reserve units.

On Lyman front, the aggressors focused their efforts on the fire damage targeting Ukrainian units near the village of Ozerne and south of the town of Lyman.

On Sievierodonetsk front, the aggressors have been advancing towards the settlements of Severodonetsk and Borivske. They have failed.

The aggressors achieved partial success near the settlement of Ustynivka.

The aggressors strike at the bridge crossings in order to disrupt the logistics and prevent the manoeuvre of Ukrainian troops.

On Bakhmut front, the Russian occupying forces are conducting an offensive towards the settlements of Komyshuvakha, Nyrkove, Berestove and Bilohorivka. However, they have failed, have suffered losses and have retreated.

The aggressors achieved partial success near Pokrovske and Klynove. They have seized the settlement of Midna Ruda and have been regrouping.

On Avdiivka front, the aggressors tried to resume the offensive, but failed.

The aggressors did not conduct active hostilities near Kurakhiv, Novopavliv, and Zaporizhzhia. They fired at the positions of our troops with mortars, missile and cannon artillery, and conducted counter-battery combat.

On Zaporizhzhia front, the aggressors’ group was additionally reinforced by a formed tank battalion equipped with T-62 tanks.

The aggressors did not conduct active hostilities on Pivdennyi Buh front. The aggressors have presumably planted mines on the shores of the Kakhovka Reservoir.

On Bessarabia front, the level of terrorist threat has decreased in the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova. At the same time, the personnel of the operational group of Russian troops in the region continue to operate in a high alert mode.

The occupying forces continue the measures of the administrative-police regime in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. The Russians are preventing civilians from entering the territory under control of Ukrainian authorities.

In addition, the aggressors intensified the broadcasting of propaganda information materials through available and special means of television and radio broadcasting.
