Kharkiv is shelled again: a teenager and two other people have been wounded

Three civilians have been wounded, including a 16-year-old boy, as a result of the shelling of Kharkiv on Monday.

Quote: "According to the investigation, the Russian military shelled the Kyiv district of Kharkiv on 30 May 2022. Nine streets came under fire.

Three civilians were injured as a result of the shelling: a 16-year-old boy and two men. All are currently in hospital."

Details: The prosecutor's office reported that the shelling damaged a number of houses and outbuildings. In addition, a fire broke out in some garage units with an area of almost 400 sq. m.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office, a pre-trial investigation has been opened into violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Background: On 29 May, Kharkiv mayor Ihor Terekhov announced the shelling of some parts of the city. 

On 26 May, Russian troops fired on Kharkiv’s Shevchenko, Kyiv and Pavlovo Pole districts. As a result of the shelling, nine people were killed, including a 5-month-old baby, and 19 were injured.
