Zelenskyy: After 107 days of war, Russia is an example of complete state degradation

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine believes that Russia’s path over the 107 days of its full-scale war against Ukraine has been the path of complete state degradation.

Quote: "Russia wants to destroy every city in Donbas, and ‘every’ is not an exaggeration. Like [it has destroyed - ed.] Volnovakha, like Mariupol. All these ruins in the cities that were once happy, black traces of fires, craters from explosions – this is all that Russia can give to its neighbours, Europe, and the world.

This is probably the fastest example of the complete degradation of any state – the path that the Russian state has covered in 107 days."

Details: Zelenskyy said that "very fierce fighting" is continuing in Donbas.

"The Ukrainian troops are doing everything they can to stop the offensive of the occupiers. Everything they can given their supplies of heavy weapons, modern artillery, and all that we have asked and continue to ask our partners for," he said.

Zelenskyy also underscored that the government is "preparing for a large-scale restoration" of Ukraine after the war and is planning many changes, but the fighting is still continuing: "And right now, in these very difficult battles, it is being decided when this ‘after’ will come. It is being decided at which frontiers we will finally break the plans of the occupiers."
