Details: Trush has posted a video showing the aftermath of the invaders’ missile strike.

Quote from Trush: "The video shows five-storey apartment buildings where civilians and children were during the attack by four missiles. The State Emergency Service, police, sappers and other services worked at the scene all night. Work is still underway. I am thankful to all the rescue workers who helped to get people out from the rubble, risking their own lives."

Details: Trush added that criminal proceedings have been opened by the Security Service of Ukraine.

Trush also said that the gas and water supply in Chortkiv had been restored. A commission is working to assess the value of the damage to civilians’ property.

Previously: On the evening of Saturday 11 June, Russian forces conducted a missile strike on the Ternopil region. On the morning of 12 June, the authorities said 22 people had been injured in an attack on Chortkiv, including a 12-year-old child, who needed stitches, and 7 women.

Most of those who were injured were people who lived in houses near where the missile landed.

One of the missiles hit a gas pipeline, so the city quickly turned off the gas.

However, Russian propagandists, represented by the Russian Defence Ministry, claimed that the Russian army had used Calibre cruise missiles to "destroy a large warehouse in Ternopil Oblast containing anti-tank missile systems and portable anti-aircraft missile systems delivered to Kyiv from the US and EU".
