Russian invaders have already killed 318 Ukrainian children

As many as 318 Ukrainian children have already died at the hands of Russian forces since 24 February 2022.

These figures are not final as work is underway to ascertain them in places where active hostilities are taking place and in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories."

Details: Children have been most affected in Donetsk Oblast (297), Kharkiv Oblast (170), Kyiv Oblast (116), Chernihiv Oblast (68), Luhansk Oblast (54), Kherson Oblast (52), Mykolaiv Oblast (48), Zaporizhia Oblast (30) and Sumy Oblast (17).

On 14 June, a two-month-old infant who had been seriously injured after Russian troops shelled the town of Uhledar, Donetsk Oblast, was taken to a medical facility.

It was reported that two families and their five children were killed in Mariupol on 15 March due to an air strike on residential buildings by the occupying forces.

It also became known that on 24 February, a mother and her 16-year-old son came under tank fire on their way out of the village of Martovo, Chuhuyiv district, Kharkiv Oblast, which resulted in a shrapnel injury to the child.
