Quote from Monastyrskyi: "Today, of course, we are stepping up work in the border regions with the Republic of Belarus.

We are hearing signals about the possibility of an attack by a subversion and reconnaissance group from this territory; that is why the National Police, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine and other agencies responsible for security today have stepped up their work there.

[In] the areas bordering places where hostilities are ongoing, the work of law enforcement officers has also been stepped up in order to identify subversion and reconnaissance groups."

Details: Monastyrskyi listed some of the most effective methods of combating infiltrators.

The first is video surveillance by the Safe Country project.

The second is effective checkpoints that carry out a thorough inspection.

"And the curfew remains in place - it’s another effective way of combating and preventing subversion and reconnaissance groups," added Monastyrskyi.

All these martial law measures will remain in place.

The minister said the government is currently discussing the introduction of administrative liability for curfew violations - and he fully supports this.
