Attack on Dnipropetrovsk Oblast: one woman killed, 9 injured


A woman has been killed and 9 more people injured during overnight shelling of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast by Russian forces, and 3 schools and residential buildings were destroyed.

Quote: "Residential neighbourhoods in Nikopol came under shelling from multiple-launch rocket systems. The aggressor fired almost 100 rounds. Previously, a 60-year-old woman died. 1 more person was injured. His condition is moderate and he is being treated at home".

Details: 11 private houses were damaged in the city. 2 cars and 3 outbuildings caught fire. A railway track was destroyed. It is not yet known when train services will resume. Two gas pipelines and a water pipeline have been ruptured. Specialists are already working to restore communications.

In the hromada [Amalgamated Territorial Community - ed.] of Pokrov in Synelnykove district, the Russian forces struck warehouses where 30 tonnes of grain were stored. A transformer was damaged by shelling. Several villages were left without electricity. Electricians are working on site to fix the problem. Nobody was injured.

In the Kryvyi Rih district, Russian troops targeted two hromadas - Zelenodolsk and Apostolove.

Zelenodolsk was fired on using tubed artillery. Two private houses caught fire, and firefighters have extinguished the fire.

The occupiers hit Apostolove with 7 rockets, hitting schools deliberately. Three of the city’s schools were destroyed, and nearby residential buildings were damaged. According to preliminary information, 8 people were injured.

A total of 3 districts in the oblast - Kryvyi Rih, Synelnykove and Nikopol - were shelled by the occupiers. They fired rockets, tubed artillery and used MLRS.
