Explosions in Odesa, fire in the port – Member of Parliament

Explosions are reported in Odesa and smoke is visible after shelling by Russian forces. People's deputy Oleksii Honcharenko has reported a fire in the port of Odesa.

Quote from Honcharenko: "There is a fire in the port of Odesa. Here is a grain corridor for you. These bastards are signing contracts with one hand and sending missiles with the other."
Details: In addition, witnesses are posting photos of the destruction of Russian missiles over Odesa.
The air-raid warning is reported to have ended.
Pivden [South] Operational Command reported that Russian forces fired on the Odesa Commercial Sea Port using Kalibr cruise missiles.
The command reported that 2 rockets were shot down by the air defence forces, while 2 more hit the infrastructure facilities of the port.
Note:
- Ukraine, Turkey and the UN Secretary General signed the "Initiative for safe transportation of grain and food products from Ukrainian ports" on 22 July in Istanbul. The same document was signed separately by representatives of Turkey, the United Nations and Russia.
- It is about 3 ports: Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi (formerly Yuzhny). The parties have undertaken not to attack commercial or civilian vessels or port facilities.
- The initiative has established control over ports in Ukraine and will not weaken the sanctions against Russia.
