Russian losses to date exceed 40,000 military personnel – General Staff

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia has lost 40,700 military personnel in the course of its full-scale military invasion in Ukraine.

Details: Total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February and 27 July 2022 are estimated to be [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses - ed.]:

• 40,070 (+200) military personnel
• 1,738 (+1) tanks
• 3,971 (+12) armoured combat vehicles
• 883 (+3) artillery systems
• 258 (+0) multiple-launch rocket systems
• 117 (+0) air defence systems
• 222 (+0) aircraft
• 190 (+1) helicopters
• 726 (+4) operational-tactical UAVs
• 174 (+0) cruise missiles
• 15 (+0) ships/boats
• 2,847 (+12) vehicles and tankers
• 75 (+0) special vehicles

Russian troops have suffered their heaviest losses on the Kryvyi Rih front.
