Russia transfers forces to Zaporizhzhia front – General Staff report

Russia has transferred several units of its troops from the Sloviansk front to the Zaporizhzhia front. Russian forces saw some success on the Avdiivka front, near the city of Avdiivka in Donetsk Oblast.

Details: On the Avdiivka front, Russian troops deployed all weapons at their disposal to fire on the areas near Nevelske, Umanske, Niu-York, Krasnohorivka, Avdiivka, Pisky, and Novobakhmutivka. Russian attack and army aircraft ruthlessly struck the city of Avdiivka, the town of Novoselivka, and the village of Yurivka in Donetsk Oblast.

Russian occupying forces attempted to advance near Kamianka and Pisky, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces thwarted their attempts. However, several Russian units saw some success near Avdiivka.

Russian troops continued to use tube and rocket artillery to fire on towns and villages on the Kharkiv front. In particular, Russians shelled the areas around Kharkiv, Duvanka, Udy, Dementiivka, Petrivka, Prudianka, Pytomnyk, Pryshyb, Pushkarne, Ruski Tyshky, Protopopivka, Verkhnya Rohanka, Korobochkyne, Borshchova, Staryi Saltiv, Ruska Lozova, Slatyne, and Sosnivka. In addition, Russians conducted an airstrike near Staryi Saltiv.

The Russians’ attempt to advance near Husarivka has failed. They were repelled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and forced to retreat.

On the Sloviansk front, Russian forces fired artillery on the areas around the towns and villages of Sloviansk, Andriivka, Dolyna, Dovhenke, Kurulka, Husarivka, Adamivka, Bohorodychne, Krasnopillya, Karnaukhivka, Chervone, Semylanne, Hrushuvakha, and Chervona Polyana.

On the Kramatorsk front, Russian occupying forces used tube and rocket artillery, as well as tanks, to fire on the areas around Siversk, Kalenyky, Pereizne, Zvanivka, Vyimka, Verkhnokamianske, Kryva Luka, Spirne, and Serebryanka, and they conducted airstrikes near Spirne and Hryhorivka.

A Russian assault group attempted to scout the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ positions near Serebryanka. The group was unsuccessful and was forced to retreat. In addition, Russian forces deployed UAVs to conduct reconnaissance near Hryhorivka.

On the Bakhmut front, Russian occupying forces shelled the areas around Kodema, Vershyna, Travneve, Bakhmut, Zaitseve, Soledar, Yakovlivka, Pokrovske, and Bilohorivka.

Air-supported units of Russian forces attempted to improve their tactical positions near Vershyna, Soledar, Yakovlivka, and Pokrovske. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have thwarted these attempts, forcing Russian assault groups to retreat.

On the Novopavlivka front, Russian occupying forces fired artillery around Marinka, Prechystivka, Velyka Novosilka, Novopil, Novosilka, Vremivka, Bilohiria, Zelene Pole, Pavlivka, Olhivske, Vuhledar, Novoukrainka, Temyrivka, Stepnohirsk, Huliaipilske, Mala Tokmachka, Zaliznychne, Nesteryanka, and Mali Shcherbaky. Russian attack and army aircraft conducted airstrikes near Mali Shcherbaky, Stepove, Marinka, and Yehorivka. The Russians also used UAVs to conduct reconnaissance near Stepnohirsk and Myrne.

There were no significant changes on the Volyn and Polissia fronts. Units of the Belarusian Armed Forces have been ordered to reinforce the security of the Belarusian-Ukrainian border in Brest and Gomel oblasts of Belarus.

On the Sivershchyna front, Russian forces used tube and rocket artillery to fire on areas around Hai and Senkivka (Chernihiv Oblast) and Shevchenkove, Ryzhivka, Bilopillya, Iskryskivshchyna, and Romashkove (Sumy Oblast), and they conducted reconnaissance near Zaliznyi Mist (Chernihiv Oblast) using UAVs.

Russian forces on the Pivdennyi Buh front are focusing their efforts on maintaining their current position and preventing the Ukrainian Armed Forces from creating favourable conditions for resuming an offensive in the area. The Russians used all weapons at their disposal to fire on Ukrainian troops, as well as military and civilian infrastructure facilities, along the entire line of contact and beyond.

Russian ships in the Black Sea and Sea of Azov are blockading civilian shipping in the northwestern part of the Black Sea and striking military targets and infrastructure in Ukraine.

In addition, four Russian naval high-precision cruise missile carriers are on standby in the Black Sea and Sea of Azov.
