Attacks on Sumy region: Russian troops destroy wheat field and damage residential buildings

Russian troops fired 10 times on border hromadas [amalgamated territorial communities] in Sumy Oblast on 11 August.

Details: Russian troops specifically attacked the hromadas of Bilopillia, Nova Sloboda, Esman, Putyvl, Shalyhyne and Velyka Pysarivka.

A total of 137 strikes was documented on Thursday, 11 August.

The Russian forces pounded Sumy Oblast using mortars and artillery.

"Fortunately, no casualties have been reported. However, [some of our] crops have been destroyed and lost," Zhyvytskyi said.

In particular, a fire broke out following Russian artillery shelling in Nova Sloboda hromada at 12:00. The fire destroyed a wheat field belonging to a private business.

Two residential buildings were also damaged by shelling in the town of Bilopillia at noon.
