Fighting underway on two fronts – General Staff report

Fighting is currently underway on the Pokrovske – Bakhmutske axis (Bakhmut front) and the Lozove – Pervomaiske axis (Avdiivka front).

Details: There were no changes on the Volyn, Polissia and Sivershchyna fronts. Russian forces shelled the village of Pavlivka in Sumy Oblast using artillery.

On the Kharkiv front, Russian forces used tank guns, as well as tubed and rocket artillery, to fire on areas in and around Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, Zolochiv, Protopopivka, Sosnivka, Korobochkyne, Shestakove, Milova, Duvanka, Husarivka and Prudianka.

Russian aircraft and helicopters carried out airstrikes on Yavirske, Staryi Saltiv, Lebiazhe and Zalyman.

On the Sloviansk front, the Russians used various types of artillery to fire on areas in the vicinity of Dibrivne, Dovhenke, Virnopillia, Sulyhivka, Chepil, Mazanivka and Bohorodychne.

Russian forces attempted to conduct assault operations on the following axes: Barabashivka – Karnaukhivka, Sulyhivka – Dibrivne and Sulyhivka – Nova Dmytrivka.

On the Kramatorsk front, Russian forces fired on areas near Siversk, Rozdolivka, Hryhorivka, Sydorove and Pryshyb.

On the Bakhmut front, the Russians used tank guns, as well as tubed and rocket artillery, to fire on areas in and around Bakhmut, Soledar, Berestove, Vesele, Zaitseve, Yakovlivka, Kodema, Spirne, Ivano-Darʼivka, Bilohorivka and Zalizne. Russian attack aircraft carried out strikes near Soledar.

In addition, Russian occupying forces carried out offensive operations on the following axes: Spirne – Vyimka, Striapivka – Soledar, Volodymyrivka – Soledar, Klynove – Bakhmut, Vershyna – Kodema. They were not successful on any of those axes and were forced to retreat.

Fighting is continuing on the Pokrovske – Bakhmutske axis.

Russian forces used artillery to shell areas in the vicinity of Avdiivka, Mar’inka, Krasnohorivka, Pisky, Opytne, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Novobakhmutivka and Netailove on the Kramatorsk front. They conducted airstrikes near Mar’inka, Novomykhailivka and Pavlivka.

Russian forces are also carrying out assault operations on the Lozove – Pervomaiske axis, where fighting is still underway.

On the Novopavlivka front, Russian troops fired on areas in and around Pavlivka, Volodymyrivka, Velyka Novosilka, Vuhledar, Novomykhailivka, Prechystivka and Zolota Nyva.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, the Russians used artillery and tank guns to fire on areas in the vicinity of Shevchenko, Charivne, Preobrazhenka, Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, Novosilka, Stepove, Vremivka and Dorozhnianka.

Russian forces continued to fire on the positions of Ukrainian troops using tank guns along with tubed and rocket artillery along the line of contact on the Pivdennyi Buh front, and carried out an airstrike in the vicinity of Mykolaivske.

Three Russian naval cruise carriers armed with Kalibr missiles are on standby in the waters of the Black and Azov seas.
