Russia transfers air defence systems to Belarus – General Staff report

Russia is transferring its air defence systems to Belarus.

Quote: "Air defence systems of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are being transferred to the territory of the Republic of Belarus on the Volyn and Polissia fronts. There is an ongoing threat of enemy missile and air strikes from the territory and the airspace of [Belarus]."

Details: On the Sivershchyna front, Russian forces used mortars to attack the village of Pushkari in Chernihiv Oblast and Myropillia and Pavlivka in Sumy Oblast.

On the Kharkiv front, the Russians used tubed and rocket artillery to fire on areas in and around Prudianka, Ruski Tyshky, Shestakove, Pishchane and Pechenihy and carried out airstrikes near Mospanove, Staryi Saltiv and Husarivka. They conducted reconnaissance operations near Velyki Prokhody.

Russian troops shelled areas near Shevelivka Krasnopillia, Dibrivne, Nortsivka, Sulyhivka and Dolyna on the Sloviansk front. They undertook reconnaissance-in-force, but were unsuccessful and retreated. They also attempted to conduct assault operations on the Brazhkivka – Nova Dmytrivka and Sulyhivka – Nova Dmytrivka axes, but suffered losses and had to retreat.

Russian forces are attempting to resume their offensive on the Donetsk front.

On the Kramatorsk front, the Russians used tubed and rocket artillery to fire on areas in the vicinity of Siversk, Hryhorivka, Verkhnokamianske and Ivano-Dar’ivka, but were not successful.

On the Bakhmut front, Russian forces used tank guns, tubed artillery and multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) to fire on the positions of Ukrainian troops near Soeldar, Yakovlivka, Zaitseve, Shumy and Zalizne. Russian aircraft carried out airstrikes near Zaitseve, Bakhmut and Soledar. Russian offensive operations on the Pokrovske – Bakhmutske and Semyhiria – Zaitseve axes were unsuccessful. However, fighting is still currently underway on the Zalizna Balka – Niu-York and Novoselivka – Niu-York axes.

On the Avdiivka front, the Russians fired on the area in and around Marinka, Vodiane, Oleksandropil and Pisky and carried out airstrikes near Avdiivka, Novobakhmutivka, Marinka, Vodiane and Krasnohorivka. They used UAVs to conduct aerial reconnaissance in the vicinity of Pokrovsk, Krasnohorivka, Vesele and Opytne. Moreover, they conducted assault operations on the following axes: Pisky – Nevelske, Lozove – Nevelske Staromykhailivka – Marinka; fighting is still continuing on all three axes.

Russian forces used artillery to shell areas in the vicinity of Shevchenko, Velyka Novosilka, Prechystivka and Vremivka on the Novopavlivka front, and deployed aircraft near Novomykhailivka and Pavlivka.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, the Russians used tank guns, as well as tubed and rocket artillery, to fire on areas in and around Neskuchne, Zaliznychne, Malynivka, Mala Tokmachka, Poltavka, Novosilka, Dorozhnianka, Orikhiv, Mali Shcherbaky, Chervone and Novodanylivka and conducted airstrikes on areas in the vicinity of Huliaipole, Olhivske and Chervone. They used an Orlan-10 UAV to conduct aerial reconnaissance in and around the city of Zaporizhzhia.

On the Pivdennyi Buh front, Russian forces fired on areas in and around Stepova Dolyna, Lymany and another 15 towns and villages and carried out airstrikes near Olhyne, Zarichne, Novohryhorivka, Bila Krynytsia, Tavriiske, Lozove and Andriivka. They used UAVs to conduct aerial reconnaissance in the area.

Finally, on the Mykolaiv front, the Russians are making some gains in the offensive battle on the Vasylky – Blahodatne axis: they have been able to capture the southern outskirts of the village of Blahodatne. Fighting is currently underway.

Three Russian naval cruise missile carriers are on standby in the waters of the Black and Azov seas.
