Ukrainian Armed Forces bring down Russian UAV on southeastern front

Ukrainian anti-aircraft forces from the Air Command Tsentr (Centre) shot down a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on the morning of Sunday, 28 August.

Quote: "On the morning of 28 August, the soldiers of an anti-aircraft missile unit of the Air Command Tsentr (Centre) shot down another hostile unmanned aerial vehicle on the south-eastern front."

Details: Air Command notes that this year’s graduates are taking part in combat missions and are "proving, with great skill and precision, that they have learned well; [they] are gaining combat experience and are defeating the enemy, together with the recently arrived reinforcement of experienced personnel."
