Russia officially confirms death of Ukrainian collaborator Kovalov

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has announced that they are looking into the murder of Oleksii Kovalov, a former member of the Ukrainian parliament who sided with Russia. The invaders had appointed him the so-called Deputy Head of the Kherson Oblast Administration for Agriculture.

Details: According to the Investigative Committee, Kovalov died as a result of a gunshot wound; the attack was committed at his place of residence on 28 August. A girl who lived with Kovalov was killed, too.

Background: On Sunday, 28 August, several anonymous Telegram channels reported that Kovalov had been murdered in Kherson Oblast.
