Attacks of Russian army repulsed on five fronts – General Staff report

Russian invaders are trying to advance and improve their tactical position on the Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka fronts, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine repulse their attacks, so the Russian forces cannot advance.

Details: On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, the situation has not changed significantly. The threat of missile and air strikes from the territory and airspace of the Republic of Belarus remains.

On the Sivershchyna front, the Russian army shelled territories near Yanzhulivka, Chernihiv Oblast, and Starykove and Vilna Sloboda, Sumy Oblast, using tubed artillery.

On the Kharkiv front, the Russian occupiers attacked civilian infrastructure in the areas of Udy, Slatyne, Svitlychne, Bairak, Peremoha, Kutuzivka, Chepil, Husarivka, Ruski Tyshky and Zalyman, They used tanks, combat vehicles, as well as tubed and rocket artillery.

On the Sloviansk front, artillery fire was observed near Dovhenke, Nortsivka, Chervone, Sulyhivka, Ridne, Adamivka and Sloviansk. The occupiers tried to improve their tactical position in the areas of Bohorodychne and Dolyna, but failed and retreated.

On the Kramatorsk front, Russian forces keep using all sorts of artillery at their disposal in the areas of Hryhorivka, Ivano-Darivka and Tetianivka. The Russian forces used aircraft to strike the vicinities of Hryhorivka and Tetianivka. The occupiers could not advance in the area of Ivano-Darivka ended with failure for the occupiers; they suffered losses and escaped.

On the Bakhmut front, the Russian occupying forces attacked military and civilian infrastructure in the areas of the settlements of Vesela Dolyna, Maiorsk, Toretsk, Bakhmut and Kodema. Russian aircraft strikes were also recorded near Bakhmut and Kodema. Defence forces of Ukraine repelled the Russian forces’ offensive near Soledar, Vesela Dolyna, Bakhmut and Kodema.

On the Avdiivka front, the areas of Avdiivka, Opytne, Nevelske, Pervomaiske, Novobakhmutivka and Oleksandropil were damaged by fire. The Russian army tried to advance in the area of Marinka, Pervomaiske and Nevelske with offensive and assault actions, but was repulsed and soldiers retreated.

On the Novopavlivka front, the Russian forces fired at the positions of Ukrainian troops from tanks, tubed artillery, and MLRS, delivering attacks near Pavlivka, Volodymyrivka, Vremivka, Novosilky and Shevchenko. They used aviation for a strike mission near Volodymyrivka. The occupiers also failed to advance in the area of Pavlivka.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, Russian attacks were recorded in the areas of Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Chervone, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Berezove, Bilohiria, Stepove and Kamianske. The occupiers tried to inflict losses on Ukrainian units near Mali Shcherbaky, delivering air strikes.

On the Pivdennyi Buh front, the Russian forces attacked the vicinities of Mykolaiv, Lupareve, Tavriiske, Prybuzke, Posad-Pokrovske, Ukrainka, Liubomyrivka, Zoria, Myrne, Kvitneve, Kyselivka, Kobzartsi, Bereznehuvate, Vysunsk, Yavkine, Velyke Artakove, Topolyne and Kniazivka from the available artillery systems and tanks. Airstrikes occurred in the districts of Andriivka and Kalynivka.

The Russian army tried to improve the tactical position near Potemkine, attacking Ukrainian positions; the invaders suffered losses and retreated.

The Russian forces are conducting intensive aerial reconnaissance, deploying drones.

In the water areas of the Black and Azov Seas, a Russian naval group is performing the task of maintaining a favourable operational regime and blocking the civilian shipping in the northwestern part of the Black Sea.
