39 journalists have died in Ukraine since the beginning of the war – Minister of Culture and Information Policy

According to the reports of the Union of Journalists of Ukraine, 39 journalists have died since the beginning of the full-scale Russian aggression in Ukraine.

Details: He stressed that to be a journalist today means to be ready to sacrifice one’s own life to bring the truth to the world.

Background: Every year since 2007, on the third Friday of September, the Remembrance Day of Ukrainian Journalists has been held. Its purpose is to commemorate all the journalists who have died while on duty.
