The Armed Forces of Ukraine repulse the Russians near Kupiansk and seven more settlements – General Staff

On Sunday, the Ukrainian military repelled attacks by Russian forces in the area of Kupiansk of Kharkiv region, as well as seven other settlements.

Quote: "During the past day, units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine have repelled enemy attacks in the areas of settlements of Kupiansk, Hoptivka, Mykolaivka Druha, Vesela Dolyna, Odradivka, Marinka, Novomykhailivka and Pravdyne."

Details: During the day, the Russian occupiers launched three rocket and 11 airstrikes, and carried out more than 40 attacks from multiple rocket launchers on facilities on the territory of Ukraine.

The infrastructure of more than 20 settlements was damaged, including Kramatorsk, Siversk, Serebrianka, Dvorichna, Kamianka, Spirne, Verkhnokamianske, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Neskuchne, Poltavka, Uspenivka, Myroliubivka, Biliaivka and Vysokopillia. The threat of air and missile strikes throughout the territory of Ukraine remains.

The Russian forces attacked from tanks, mortars and artillery, namely:

On the Sivershchyna front  - in the areas of the settlements of Huta-Studenetska of Chernihiv Oblast and Rozhkovychi, Sosnivka and Katerynivka of Sumy Oblast;

On the Slobozhanshchyna front - in the areas of the settlements of Hoptivka, Strilecha, Kozacha Lopan, Kudiivka, Vysoka Yaruha, Vovchansk, Hatyshche, Budarky, Kupiansk and Mykolaivka;

On the Kramatorsk front - Kryva Luka, Pyskunivka, Raihorodok, Bilohorivka, Ozerne, Hryhorivka;

On the Bakhmut front - Mykolaivka, Siversk, Rozdolivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Niu-York, Yakovlivka, Zaitseve and Maiorsk;

On the Avdiivka front - Kostiantynivka, Avdiivka, Kamianka, Opytne, Pervomaiske, Karlivka ta Vodiane;

On the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts, about 25 settlements were attacked. In particular, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Velyka Novosilka, Mykilske, Kamianske, Zaliznychne and Novopavlivka.

On the Pivdennyi Buh front, the Russian forces inflicted fire damage along the entire line of contact. More than 30 settlements were fired on. Ukrainka, Myrne, Kvitneve, Novorosiiske, Kobzartsi and Olhyne are among them. 

Over the past day, units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine have repelled invaders’ attacks in the areas of settlements of Kupiansk, Hoptivka, Mykolaivka Druha, Vesela Dolyna, Odradivka, Marinka, Novomykhailivka and Pravdyne.

The aviation of the Defence Forces have carried out 20 strikes during the last 24 hours - it was confirmed that 15 areas of concentration of troops of Russian manpower and strongholds and four positions of anti-aircraft missile systems were hit.

Moreover, Ukrainian air defence units destroyed one unmanned aerial vehicle belonging to the occupiers.

Ukraine’s missile forces and artillery fired at more than 20 Russian targets. In particular, the Ukrainian army hit seven control points and nine support points and areas where troops of personnel and military equipment were concentrated. Air defence facilities and pontoon crossings of the Russian occupiers were in the affected area. The total losses suffered by the Russian forces are being confirmed.
