Quote: "I noticed that Russian diplomats flee as skillfully as Russian soldiers," Kuleba said, referring to the retreat of the Russian army during the counteroffensive of Ukrainian forces in Kharkiv Oblast.

Lavrov arrived at the Security Council meeting on the situation in Ukraine an hour and a half late. In his speech, he specifically stated that "Ukraine has finally turned into a totalitarian state of the neo-Nazi kind."

After the speech, the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs immediately left the Security Council meeting. As Western journalists noted, there was "a countenance of contempt" on the face of British Foreign Minister James Cleverly, the politician who spoke after Lavrov.

Earlier, when Kuleba was asked how he would act in the same hall with Lavrov, he joked that he [Kuleba - ed.] would observe a "safe social distance."

Associated Press also noted that when the UN Security Council staff tried to put up a sign indicating Ukraine's place next to Russia before the meeting, Kuleba protested and the sign was moved to another place. Lavrov was not in the hall at the time.
