Quote from Kyrylenko: "The attack [on the school] took place around 05:00 (an S-300 missile was used, as early reports indicate). Twelve people were sheltering there at the time, including two children and a person with disability. The occupiers deliberately targeted the school building."

Details: Kyrylenko said that the school’s walls collapsed, but the shelter was not affected. There were no casualties. The search continues for one of the members of the school staff. Kyrylenko added that the building was not a military target and once again urged civilians to evacuate Donetsk Oblast.

In addition, he reported that on 27 September Russian forces killed four civilians in Kurakhivka and one in Bakhmut; 10 civilians sustained injuries.

Sloviansk Military Civilian Administration reminded local residents that on 28 September they will be able to take an evacuation train to Pokrovsk. The next train to Pokrovsk (where people will be able to board evacuation trains to Lviv and to Kirovohrad Oblast) is scheduled for 30 September. A group of people who want to evacuate to Rivne Oblast is also being assembled.

Updated at 09:56: Kyrylenko added that Russians had attacked the old part of Avdiivka, Marinka, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka and Novomykhailivka in Marinka hromada [an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories], and Odradivka and Mayorsk in Svitlodarsk hromada sporadically overnight. Preliminary reports indicate that there were no casualties. Toretsk was struck the evening before - there were no casualties, but two houses were damaged.
