Explosions heard overnight in Zaporizhzhia, but no "incoming" strikes in the city – City Council

Explosions rang out near Zaporizhzhia overnight, with one of the villages in Zaporizhzhia district damaged by Russian shelling.

Quote from Kurtiev: "Tonight, while the air-raid siren was sounding, you could hear loud noises in the city. According to preliminary information, the explosions were outside the city. No strikes were recorded in the city of Zaporizhzhia. The information is being confirmed.

It is also known at this time that one of the villages of the Zaporizhzhia district was hit by enemy shelling that night. Residential buildings were destroyed there."

Details: Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration, referring to the police, reports that over the past day, the occupiers fired at civilian infrastructure in the area of the settlements of Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Dorozhniaky, Zaliznychne, Poltavka, Mikilske, Chervone, Uspenivka, Olhivske, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Bilohiria, Malynivka and Kamianske.

During the day, 12 reports were received concerning the destruction of civil infrastructure facilities as a result of shelling by the Russian occupying forces.

Evacuation of the civilian population from the temporarily occupied territory continued. 1,156 people were evacuated, including 288 children.
