Russia lost almost 65 thousand killed, but even 100 thousand will not make them think – Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy declares that Russia has already lost almost 65,000 soldiers in the war against Ukraine.

Quote: "The total losses of the enemy in terms of personnel are approaching 65,000. So many citizens of Russia gave their lives for the possibility of a handful of people in the Kremlin to ignore reality.
And according to the way the Russian "mohylizatsiia" [a wordplay meaning that mobilisation will lead to a lot of graves; "mohyla" means "grave" in Ukrainian] continues, we can say that even a 100,000 dead Russian citizens will not prompt the Kremlin to think a little bit [about their actions].
Only real victories for Ukraine, only the real defence by the free world of itself from Russian terror and blackmail – protection with sanctions, protection with help for Ukraine, only complete displacement of the occupiers from Ukrainian land and dismantling of the aggressive capabilities of the terrorist state – can be the way to peace."
Details: The President also announced that the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue "active operations in various areas of the front".
"A very difficult situation persists in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. The most difficult is the Bakhmut front. As in previous days, we are holding our positions. In general, in the east and south, we are doing everything to make the occupiers feel that they have no prospects. No matter who they send to fight against us, it will only end in defeat for them," Zelenskyy said.
