Russians are sealing up manhole covers in Nova Kakhovka, an occupied city in Kherson Oblast, due to their fear of Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups.

Quote: "Such safety measures show that the Russians are preparing for street fighting in the city. At the same time, newly arrived Russian soldiers are continuing to move into empty properties that were abandoned when the owners left the city because of the Russian occupation.
The mass sealing of manhole covers puts locals in danger, since it blocks access to strategically important utility lines for utility workers and firefighters."
Details: The National Resistance Center is once again calling upon locals to leave the Kherson region for the duration of the counter-offensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
