Details: Russian forces are attempting to maintain control over previously occupied territories and are focusing their efforts on holding back Ukrainian troops on several fronts. They are also continuing to make attempts to advance on the Avdiivka and Bakhmut fronts.

Russian forces are additionally firing on Ukrainian troops along the line of contact, are reinforcing their positions on some of the fronts and are conducting aerial reconnaissance.

Over the course of the day, the Russians carried out one missile strike on Ukraine and deployed multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) in 11 further attacks.

They deployed mortars, tank guns and tubed and rocket artillery on the Slobozhanshchyna, Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts.

Russian forces are also continuing to set up and reinforce defence positions on the left bank of the River Dnipro, in southern Ukraine.

Russian occupation forces are restricting civilians’ right to free movement on the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. For example, residents of the village of Pershotravneve in Kharkiv Oblast have been banned from leaving the village.

Russia continues to take measures to replenish its combat losses. Representatives of the country’s military-industrial complex are recruiting prisoners in penitentiary institutions in the city of Bryansk and in wider Bryansk Oblast.

According to the most up-to-date information, Ukraine’s defence forces killed up to 60 and wounded at least 10 Russian soldiers, including at least 10 officers, in the vicinity of Korzhove and Mykolaivka in Luhansk Oblast in the past several days.
