Over half of Russian forces are still on right bank of Dnipro in Kherson Oblast

Vadym Skibitskyi, a representative of Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, said over half of the Russian forces that had been stationed on the right bank of the Dnipro River were still there. This is a force that had previously been estimated at 20,000 military personnel.

The rest are still there, fighting, conducting military activities with the aim of providing cover for others to leave".

Details: According to Skibitskyi, the Russian occupiers are retreating from the second line of defence, to which they were pushed back by Ukrainian forces in early October; the Russians have built a line of defence around Kherson, and "time will tell" whether they will decide to defend the city.
