Approximately 8,500 generator sets are imported per day

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is considering all possible scenarios due to Russia’s attacks on the energy system of Ukraine, in particular, they are intensifying the imports of energy-generating facilities.

Details: Moving forward, every Ukrainian resident can import a generator or charging station from abroad without paying customs duty and value-added tax (VAT). Currently, approximately 8,500 generator sets are imported every day.

Shmyhal has added that Ukraine is receiving financial support from partners.

Quote: "Canada has issued a five-year C$500 million bond. Anyone can contribute to strengthening our country. The government has decided to attract an additional USD$4,5 billion dollars in grant funds from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

We will use these resources for social security and salaries for state employees. Next week, Ukraine will also receive EUR€2,5 billion from the European Union." 

The Government also allocated UAH₴100 million for the priority restoration of liberated Kherson Oblast.
