Hundreds of our cities are simply burned. Thousands of people died. Hundreds of thousands were forcibly deported to Russia. Millions left Ukraine for other countries fleeing war."

Details: Zelenskyy has also reported that last Tuesday, 8 November, Russia carried out almost a hundred missile strikes, as a result of which more than 20 million people were left without electricity.

"Do you know what this missile strike is? It’s more than 20 million people without electricity. Such was the damage to the power system, such was the urgent emergency blackout. The reactors at two of our nuclear power plants also shut down due to the damage to the energy sector caused by the missile."

Background: At least 3,500 missiles have been fired by the Russian Federation at Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale military invasion, said Ruslan Strilets, the Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, at the beginning of September.
