Quote from Zelenskyy: "Today, the European Parliament at last recognised Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism. I am grateful to all members of the European Parliament. Later the same day, Russia showed the entire world that this was all true by launching 67 missiles against our infrastructure, our energy system, and regular civilians."

Zelenskyy further stressed that everything that Russian forces have destroyed will be rebuilt and restored. "We will restore everything; we will survive this because we are an invincible people," the president said.

Previously: On 23 November, Russia carried out a new large-scale missile attack on critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine using strategic aircraft and vessels of the Black Sea Fleet. According to Ukraine’s Air Force, Russian forces launched around 70 Kh-101/Kh-555 and Kalibr cruise missiles against Ukraine. Ukraine’s anti-aircraft defence systems and forces destroyed 51 Russian missiles. Ukraine’s defence forces also destroyed five Russian Lancet UAVs in the south of Ukraine.

The attack resulted in a temporary blackout at all nuclear power plants in Ukraine, as well as at most thermal and hydroelectric power plants. Power transmission facilities were also damaged. Most of Ukraine was left without power and running water.

Ukraine’s National Police reported that 36 Ukrainian citizens were injured and six were killed as a result of the Russian missile attack on 23 November.
