Russia’s Defence Ministry is collecting bayans to send to conscripts to boost their combat spirit

The Russian Ministry of Defence has announced a collection of musical instruments to be sent to those mobilised for the war in Ukraine, stating it will boost the combat spirit of the occupiers.

Details: The municipal authorities of Saint Petersburg say that the collected bayans, accordions, harmonicas, guitars, and balalaikas will be sent to the contact line "to support the combat spirit, unity, inspiration for feats, as well as moral and psychological relief".

Citizens are invited to bring musical instruments to the military-medical museum of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, the military-historical museum of artillery, engineering troops and signal troops, or the central naval museum. Instruments are accepted free of charge. 

Background: Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have killed 620 invaders, bringing the total number of invaders killed since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion to 94,760 soldiers.
