Zelenskyy convenes meeting of Staff of Supreme Commander-in-Chief with focus on state border

On 14 December, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a regular meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.

Details: The President’s Office reported that the meeting’s attendees heard reports on the operational situation at the front and considered the urgent needs of the Ukrainian defence forces involved in repulsing Russian armed aggression.

There was also analysis of the Russian forces’ latest actions and ways of counteracting them. Special attention was paid to ensuring security at the state border of Ukraine.

Work continues on strengthening Ukraine’s air and missile defence and protecting its energy infrastructure.

The attendees also reviewed the progress of repairs to Ukraine’s energy system, the Office of the President noted.
