FSB poison developer who regrets Russian aggression fired by Kremlin

The Kremlin have dismissed Colonel-General Eduard Chernovoltsev, who was in charge of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) NII-2 research institute where poisons are being produced in a secret laboratory. The poisons are being used, among other things, for assassinating Russian liberals and members of the Russian opposition.

Quote: "Chernovoltsev used to supervise the NII-2 FSB Research Institute of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, where different kinds of poison are being produced in a secret laboratory. Employees of the university directly participated in the poisoning of Alexey Navalny, founder of the Anti-Corruption Foundation, Dmitri Bikov, a writer, and Vladimir Kara-Murza, a public figure."

Details: According to the official version, Chernovoltsev was dismissed after he reached retirement age, even though such high-profile figures are usually allowed to continue their service up to the age of 70 years.

Yet according to The Insider source in FSB, the Kremlin was quite disappointed by frequent database leaks which allowed journalists to publish their investigations, specifically about Putin’s confidants.

"Only two years ago Eduard Chernovoltsev swore to the Russian government that he would block all leak channels. But it is next to impossible in our faulty system," one of the sources stated.

Another employee from the FSB Science and Technology Service reported that Chernovoltsev, who had lived in Kyiv for a long period of time, "greatly regretted the start of the special military operation in Ukraine and stated numerous times in the company of friends that things had all gone too far."
